Another incredible addition to your superb and thoughful collection Chris! Herriman always pleases, but this example is particularly well choosen!

Wonderful example of George Herriman's Krazy Kat. I love everything about this strip, from the cool lettering of the title panel, to the awesome desert landscapes that fill the backgrounds. I love all the characters with their strong personalities and their never-ending conflicts. Best of all is the love triangle between Krazy who loves Ignatz who hates Krazy and Offisa Pup who loves Krazy and wants to protect her from Ignatz! This Sunday is an incredible example of the elaborate lengths Ignatz will go to so that he can smack Krazy with a brick without going to jail. That final panel is the perfect Krazy Kat panel. You have this peaceful desert landscape contrasting with Offisa Pup with his back turned while Ignatz throws his brick at Krazy. Genius!

Every comic art fan that doesn't appreciate Herriman Krazy Kat is just because is still not on their radar, after the first exposure to the genius of it I believe is love at first sight. Congratulations on another precious gem!
