I'm a big fan of the late British artist Josh Kirby, and I was very pleased to add another piece by him to my collection at PulpFest last week. This one was the cover to "Escape on Venus" by Edgar Rice Burroughs, published in the U.K. by Four Square in 1966.

Very cool with the dark tone of the cover showing sinister forces at work! The main character gets a brighter shine to highlight her exotic attractiveness as the book's selling point!
