Maybe it's the fact that Bruce Banner is an ordinary guy who turns into a monster that even he can't control. The uncontrolled rage and fury of the Hulk is breathtakingly captured on this cover for Marvel Treasury Edition #5 by John Romita Sr. In one dynamic image, Romita captured perfectly the Hulk's might and ferocity. Look how Romita drew the Hulk exploding through a brick wall like it was paper. Radiating lines accentuate the Hulk's forward motion. Notice his arm swinging at us, his foot leaping out over the title. He almost seems to be bursting out of the comic itself. IMHO, it's a great cover.Social/Sharing |

THis is great - I have the Romita FF Treasury cover on my wall and this is every bit as amazing and powerful -- such a nostalgic and well-known cover; phenomenal
