I've enjoyed watching Michael Cho develop his style over several years, sometimes with one color, sometimes with two colors, but it's always delightful to see. There's a kind of timelessness to his work--It could be from the 1940s or 2025, any period at all and it would not look remiss. Love this cover for Batman Year One. This collage of characters is just right for the story--From the Batman at the top with his swirling cape, to Harvey Dent, Robin, Alfred and Gordon, they all look just right no matter what year it is. Fabulous pick-up, congratulations!

Wow! Gorgeous Frank Frazetta watercolor of a Viking. What a fabulous drawing but so simple and uncluttered. Love the way the Viking holds himself with a kind of world weariness, like he's been everywhere and seen everything and he's a little tired of it. Fabulous pick-up, congrats.

Wow! What an amazing prelim by Steve McNiven. He does seem to be channeling Moebius in this page. Phenomenal pencils, it would hardly seem neccessary to do inks. This art is pretty much ready to rock. Great pick-up, congrats!

Gorgeous art by Tillie Walden for the anthology "Wonder Woman Black and Gold." Tillie's art isn't the usual style of a Wonder Woman book, but it does give us a woman's perspective on the character of Diana Prince. I find her approach interesting and would love to see more of it. Great pick-up, congrats!

Stunning DPS with Wolverine/Patch battling a Mandroid. Gorgeous art by Andrea Di Vito and Lebeau Underwood. Andrea and Lebeau do a great job of capturing the Wolverine we all know and love. He may be Patch on the outside, but he's all Wolverine on the inside. Great pick-up, congrats!

My favorite of all your trophy walls. Who but the Joker would have the entire Trinity on his wall and live to tell about it? Who but Brian Bolland would have the audacitry to try and pull it off? Who but you would dare ask Brian Bolland to draw it? Amazing commission, congrats.

Siimply gorgeous Action Comics cover as Superman, Superboy Krypto and Streaky enjoy hot dogs while sitting on the globe atop the Daily Planet building. It's a happy cover with white cumulous clouds and sun above them and the world below them. It's a glorious moment..that won't last. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

Fantastic page from Batman: WKP: Harley Quinn by Matteo Salera. Love Matteo's work on this title. This page is a great page friom this storyline. Love the tense interplay between Batman and Harley at the top half. And then the bottom splash is a gorgeous depiction of Harley embracing her new lifestyle and looking all sexy and kittenish as she thinks about how much she loves her "Jack Napier." Stunnning work, great pickup!

Absolutely stunning page from an absolutely stunning issue of Walking Dead. That top panel is one of the most memorable images from the series for me. It was such a ground breaking series in so many ways. There had never been a comic book series so bleak in its portrayal of a dystopian future. And we as readers tooks such delight in its depictions of murder and disfigurement. Memorable page from a memorable book. Congrats.

Love these two stunnning pages from Swamp Thing. These are the pages that changed Swamp Thing from what he thought he was to discovering what he really was. Incredible writing by Alan Moore. Gorgeous art by Steve Bissette and John Totleben. In fact, that first panel here on page 17 is probably the definative drawing of Swamp Thing ever. I am in awe. It's a great piece of art in an even greater collection. My congratulations. 

Splendid Superman splash by the great Jim Lee and equally great Scott Williams! Love this scene of Superman snatching RPGs right out of the air. I love the look of anger in his face--Anger no doubt that people would use these hateful weapons on one another. I love that Superman here is a force for good and stands ready to protect those who can't prortect themselves. Fabulous pick-up, congratulations!

Stunnning Warlock title splash by the great Jim Starloiin and Steve Leialoha. This was the comic that started as a story and became a saga. The art was gorgeous and the story all encompassing. Great pick-up, congrats!

Love this page from the retelling of the FF's origin story. Love that first panel where Ben is looking at the crash site of their spaceship and remembering what happened when they landed. It's a terrific way to tell the story again for kids who hadn'tr read the original. There's a sadness or wistfulness to Ben's retelling, because he's still not happy with having been changed into the Thing. Fabulous page, great pick-up! 

Not one but three Spider-Man pages? Can't blame you. Wieringo's art is fantastic, very sharp and clean Love this page with Spidey trying on the jetpack for the first time. Love that final circular panel where Spidey has on the headset and looks straight at us. I can only imagine he's winking. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

Wow! What an awesome illustration of Calvin and Hobbes by Jared Cullum! So cool to see a more three-dimensional Calvin and Hobbes, riding down a hill in his trusty red wagon, chased by a Tyrannosaurus Rex while other dinosaurs watch from a distance. Beautifully drawn and gorgeously painted in glorious watercolors. Superb pick-up, congrats!

Absolutely killer illustration by Simpsons' comic book artist Hilary Barta! Love this laboratory scene where Professor Frink has created a monster version of Bart made of metal and wires. Bart looks at this monstrosity in terror as it advances on him. Love the noir-style lighting Hilary used here to make the scene more nightmarish! Just a great illustration by a great artist!

Wowza! What a cool page from Doctor Strange #1 by Frank Brunner! Frank really made a name for himself during his run on Doctor Strange and on this page you can see why. Here, Strange is enveloped by strange tentacles and he is caught in the snare of an enormous insect-like creature from another dimension. Brunner's flawless style makes all this seem perfectly believable. And when Doctor Strange finally decidea to unleash his power in the final panel, Brunner makes the scene memorable. Fabulous page, great pick-up!

Fantastic page by George Tuska and John Verpooten for Iron Man #46. Great scene as Iron Man tries to cool off some protesters only to be challengesd by another armored man calling himself the Guardian! Marvelous page, congrats!

Gorgeous panel page from the Frank Miller/Dave Gibbons classic, "Give Me Liberty" featuring Martha Washington. The page features multiple scenes from the dystopian graphic novel. Beautiful art by Dave Gibbons and some of Frank Miller's best writing. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

Charming! Super cute Psylocke illustration by Rian Gonzales! Love this rendition of Psylocke in pinks and purples, all feminine and sweet. But there are a couple of little chubi at her shoulders, one a Cyclops and the other a Storm. The Cyclops is giving off symbols of love while the Storm is threatening with a lightning bolt. it's a beauitiful illustration by Gonzales. Great pick-up, congrats. 

Well, we can certainly see what Venom is wishing for this Christmas--Spider-Man and the Human Torch, all packaged up and ready to take home! Oh wait, the presents don't want to go home with the scary man? Hmm. We may have a problem. Great pick-up, congrats!

Beautiful convention sketch of Storm by Art Adams. The X-Men were one of those teams that Art Adams has always drawn so well. His Storm is iconic. Great pick-up, congrats!

Stunning Moon Knight cover by Pep Larraz! Love the Mummies rising out of their sarcophaguses to cradle Moon Knight. Not sure it they've giving him power or drawing power away from him, but they're very eerie. Fabulous cover, great pick-up!

Wow! What a gorgeous DPS by Igor Kordey retelling Cable's origin! Cable hiimself sits front and center, doing some kind of futuristic meditation while six panels from his life appear behind him, wordlessly describing his life, from a tiny baby with wires sticking out of him through development in a incubantion chamber thru combat training. It's an artistic tour de force, telling us hhis story without words. It's a stunning work of art, a great addition to your marvelous collection!

A+ Machine Man page by the great Barry Windsor-Smith  Love this panel page that opens with a the city street with futuristic cars and a boarded-up McDonald's restaurant that turns out to be occupied by a couple of rebel geniuses who are rewiring Machine Man's brain. The money shot is that second panel with a geeky kid rewiring Machine Man, whose head is open, revealng all this elaborate wiring.The whole page is beautifully laid out by Herb Trimple and exquistely drawn and inked by Barry. One of the best Machine Man pages from the miniseries, IMHO. Great pick-up, congrats!

What a stunning George Perez Avengers page!!! First we see a line of large birds carrying armed men. Next Iron Man and Ms. Marvel fly up to intercept them. Then they are attacked by the Men on the Birds. Finally Iron Man blasts them with his gunlets' repulsor rays. Beautifully drawen page. Love that top borderless panel with the attackers on birds. Fabulous detailing in the central panels. And then a simple silhouetted Iron Man Hand blasting the birds. Exquisite storytelling by one of the greatest comic artists ever. Serious congrats, great pick-up!

Wow! This isn't the first thing that comes to mind when I hear "Black Panther," but I'm not complaining. What a stunning commission by Fastner and Larson. Amazing commission, congrats!

Wow! What a glamorous Black Cat commission by Eric Basaldua EBAS! Check out that sleek black skintight outfit she's wearing. And notice she's lounging in a comfy looking spiderweb. This is one lady who knows how to set a trap for a Spider-Man. Stunning pick-up, congrats!

Daniel Warren Johnson's greatest skill may not be his art, although he's incredibly good at that. It may be his ability to tell story with heart and emotion. This page from Murder Falcon is a touching tender moment between a daughter and her father. Daniel always finds time in his stories to include moments like this. Sure, he does action scenes--Big time. Bt he also makes sure that his stories have human emotion to them. Love this page for its compostion, its detail, its inking...but mostly for its heart. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

Terrific Ulitmate Spider-Man cover in which Miles Morales learns it ain't easy being a superhero. Touching scene of Peter Parker bending over an injured Miles but about to be interrupted by someone with bloodstained claws. Great pick-upo, congrats!

Cool Green Arrow page from 1973 by Dick Dillon and Dick Giodano. Gorgeous art on a fun, fast paced panel page with Oliver Queen getting sidetracked by a pretty gal. Terrific pick-up, congrats!

Fun to see this page from 1952. The pacing and compostion of comic art pages has changed a bit, but it's good to see strong composition, great storytelling and crisp inking haven't. Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic Justice League page by Kevin Maguire and Joe Rubinstein. Love that first panel with Superman looking fit to kill, followed by that second panel with Luthor looking utterly terrified! It's little touches like those that really make this page a winner. Great pick-up, congrats!

Jawdroppingly cool! What a powerful painting of the Spectre! Garry Leach really outdid himself here! Love the tight closeup of Spectre's face, the eldritch power eminating from his fingertips, his eyes glowing in the the light. It all creates a mysterious mood that really captures the essence of the Spectre. Love this pick-up, congrats!
