Although I had read some stories of the original Legion of Super-Heroes (and enjoyed them), it was the Reboot Legion that really hooked me into becoming a full-time reader. And so Lee Moder and Jeff Moy became the artists who defined the team for me. I thought that Lee was an amazing artist, and I was deeply saddened when I learned that he had passed away earlier this year. I loved his storytelling skills as well as his incredible talent for drawing unique facial expressions. When I saw that Comic Art House was having an estate sale for Lee's art, I quickly looked through the pieces available, and decided on this piece. This is probably my favorite drawing of the Reboot version of Brainiac 5 and Koko. Brainy looks like he is barely tolerating Koko here, whereas Koko looks happy as can be. Ron Boyd supplied the gorgeous inks here, and Tom McCraw provided the colors and text for the published page. Ron and Tom were a constant presence on the Legion back in the 90's, providing a consistent look for the team for many years, and I am a huge fan of both of those guys. Anyway, I am overjoyed to own this page, and I simply must thank Bob Shaw for the smooth transaction!

I like the graphic element of that background - looks great vs the main Braniac figure. And you gotta love the expressions on both characters :) Congrats!

It is a strong character page. Nice to see these pages surface even if it N is in sad circumstances
