Description

From the third season Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Fred Wolf Films) episode "Enter the Rat King."

Here's a great full-body image of Rat King adorned by his faithful rat subjects!

This is a painted acetate cel layered over background print. In this case, the supplied background is different than the episode context, showing a sewer background as opposed to an abandoned subway station. These cels were sold framed in mats and protective plastic sleeves at various toy and department stores throughout the early 1990s under the "Animation Art" label. This cel was scanned inside the sealed plastic sleeve, so the image clarity suffers a bit. Also attached is a screencap from the VUDU digital version, around the 10 minute, 36 second mark.

Love the Rat King! Great cel, I sold all of mines that featured him years ago and now I'm itching to get one back. Congrats again!

They don't pop up on ebay much, so it's great when I have a chance to snag a good one! I've got another Rat King cel in my gallery from the same episode.
