Description

When you think of iconic Batman scenes, you think of Batman posed on a gargoyle. Here's a fabulous take on that classic pose by Arthur Adams, one of the masters of modern comic art. I love this drawing, not just for the great image of Batman, but also for how he's managed to sneak in Catwoman underneath the gargoyle's head and Robin behind Batman's cape. And what's that sticking out of the gargoyle's mouth--Is that a drain spout...or a machine gun?

An Arthur Adams masterpiece! Batman poised on a gargoyle is a classic, with Catwoman and Robin too boot! (I love Catwoman's cuteness and grin - brings a little playfulness to an otherwise very serious scene). And I'm voting for machine gun (pointing out of the gargyle's mouth). Congrats!!
