DescriptionHere is my commission from Rick Leonardi, I was fortunate to be able to set this one up a few years back and it’s still one of my favorites! I absolutely love how it can be viewed from any angle and it still works! I’m posting it now because it’s the 30th Anniversary of the publication of 1992’s Spider-Man 2099 #1! During the 30th Anniversary of Spider-Man in 92, Marvel released a series of issues featuring a hologram cover and they each had a fold out poster included, my favorite of the batch was the Spider-Man & Spider-Man 2099 poster by Leonardi & Williamson included in Web of Spider-Man #90. I had it in my head that when the chance arose, I would get a commission that homaged that poster. Getting this one in hand was a huge moment & I love it today just as much as I did a few years back when I first saw it.Social/Sharing |

Oh the heck is Spider-Man 2099 thirty years old already? Time flies. I have always really loved the costume design on Spider-Man 2099. It's a really neat design. The perspective is enough to give you vertigo! All this from the original artist on the series. Great pick up.

Right? 1992...30 years. Unreal!! A full 11x17 Spidey 2099 commission from Rick was right near the top of my collection wishlist when I started collecting! This was a huge get for me!

The piece has a definite focus on on Spider-Man 2099 and looks really cool with a Spider-Man reaction pose. The background is done in such a way that it can be from either time period. Large images by Leonardi who knows exactly how to please the fanbase.

Thanks!! He definitely knows what he is doing when it comes to perspective. Always love how dynamic his pieces are! You can just feel the motion & energy of this one!
