Description

Published February 1992. Alex Saviuk has worked with nearly all of the greatest writers for Marvel on Spider-Man: Stan Lee, Gerry Conway, David Michelinie, Peter David and Fabian Nicieza. It wasn't until the "Inferno" crossover event where Hobgoblin returned and became possessed by a demon that made him a household name but further complicated an unsolved mystery of his identity. Demonized Hobbie would go onto appear in nearly all of the 90's Marvel titles at the time, making notable appearances in 'Marc Spector: Moon Knight' and 'Ghost Rider'. Eventually, the demon spawned into its own being as Demogoblin, which its name was intended to be a placeholder by Howard Mackie. Marvel editors and marketing ran off with the name and it stuck.

Alex was the first artist that Howard has ever worked with in the industry. They would go on to do 13 issues of 'Web of Spider-Man' together for the "Name of the Rose" and "Spirits of Venom" arcs.
