Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why?
My Batman by Jim Lee as he has always been my favorite comic book artist growing up. To finally to be able to possess one has really been a dream come true.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
I'm originally from Baltimore, MD area and in recent years, moved to Southern California for the warmer weather. Used to be in the Air Force and went to school for Cybersecurity. Always been a huge Batman fan, especially of Bruce Timm's animated series.
How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?
Didn't start going to cons and collecting art until really late in the game because I couldn't afford it before. Only has been about 4-5 years. Once I started getting a good paying job, that's when the hobby began.
How do you display/store your collection at home?
I'm not the type to hoard art in a drawer somewhere. I like them to be displayed on the wall and to follow a certain theme. Initially, I started to collect from a bunch of different artists and characters then I started to realize what theme I really wanted to focus on. My gallery wall at home is focused on DC characters, mostly Batman and Green Lantern. Anything outside of DC (e.g. Marvel, Image) will be sketched in a hardcover book as part of my collection. My friend is the reason I got into this. Sometimes I'd want an artist or character but didn't want the art sitting somewhere under-appreciated or clash with my wall, so hardcover books was the best route to take because I value them quite a bit. I've accumulated so many of the years.
