DescriptionPencil and ink sketch in The Plastic Man Archives Volume 7. Poor Denny Colt, aka the Spirit, sure had his hands full with the ladies. Here Ramona depicts one of the Spirit's many femme fatales, the dagger-wielding Skinny Bones. This classic image of Ms. Bones is from Will Eisner's cover to The Spirit 22, cover dated August 1950. Ramona did a great job in capturing the Lauren Bacall look of the character. The opposite illustration on this two-page spread shows Ramona's rendition of the Spirit, another great piece by the wonderful and talented Ms. Fradon.Social/Sharing |
