Description

15" x 10" image area. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Detective Comics #597 Page 17 original art (DC 1989). Eduardo Barreto and Steve Mitchell.

Seeing Batman in action with his Batgear is always a treat. Here, we have the Batarang (such a cool name!) and the Batrope. The first two vertical panels are a true visual treat - especially the middle one with Batman's silhouette lit by a full moon as he scales the face of the building!

How cool--Batman doing his Batman thing! Love those first two panels, especially the second one, showing Batman scaling the outside of a building! Classic!
