Description

My favorite piece by Mazher Sadiq - here we have a portrait of the man who would become Pakistan's founder - essentially the equivalent of George Washington.

Not a perfect man, but by all accounts one who tried. Unfortunately Jinnah (and his secular vision) died just over a year after Pakistan was formed, depriving it of a strong leader during critical years.

A stellar portrait in graphite.

This style falls under the sub-category of "Hyper-realism" in illustration. Really well done!

The guy should be drawing currency portraits. The weathering of the face and the weave of the jacket makes the subject as cool as the other side of the pillow.

Great jumping amaze-balls. I just searched for his website and his wildlife drawings are equally stunning. A pure talent indeed.

One of the best portraits of Jinnah I've seen. Love how it communicates all his greatness and humanity just through his eyes. I must admit I do not know much about the illustrator but will aim to remedy that. Congrats on a great piece, ML!
