DescriptionThis was part of the first real art purchase I've ever Made. I was doing a little google searching back in like 2011, or 2012. And I was a huge walking dead fan at the time, still am. And i found that Charlie was selling all of his pages through Splashpage Comic Art. I did some searching around and found the 3 pages that were Hershel's death, which is also the same pages that we get confirmation that Judith is dead.I hope you guys enjoy seeing these pages. I've really enjoyed having them on my wall for the past 8 years or so. In this page we see the Governor and his goons come upon Hershel weeping over his dead son's body. And it ends with the Governor putting his pistol to Hershel's head. ****Notes under construction, as I'm condensing these three separately posted pages into a single posting********* Social/Sharing |

I keep them on the wall in sequence. I’ve read this part of the series so many times I don’t need the bubbles anymore. Your collection of this particular issue it’s story line is really badass Phillip!

Outstanding grouping of Walking Dead pages! Charlie Adlard's work on Walking Dead was incredibly powerful. He really created a whole distopian world in book after book. I love the emotion that he brought to these pages. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Bill! I agree! Adlards work on this book really set the whole tone for me. Tony's drawing stile is prettier... but I think the book was better for having Adlard on it. His art style I think lended itself more to the apocalyptic / dystopian feel of the world.
