Ryan Ottley - Hulk Vol 5 #3 p 5 pencils

There�s hardly a more exciting modern creator than Ryan Ottley, and when you team him with a superstar writer like Donny Cates � magic happens! After picking up Invincible and Amazing Spider-Man pages last year, I couldn�t be happier to add Ryan�s newest venture into becoming the modern master of superhero comics.

I thought following Al Ewing and Joe Bennett�s Immortal Hulk run would be impossible, but Ottley and Cates have come up with a special, new, and fresh idea for the Hulk that I just love. It�s going off in a whole different direction with lots of sci-fi elements, but it is retaining some of the horror which I think is wise.

Love this page for Ottley�s impeccable paneling, layouts, and storytelling. His attention to detail and to the flow of the reader�s eye is unmatched. Plus, the star of the show here is that split-screen panel of Bruce Banner and Starship Hulk. Iconic stuff.
