DescriptionWhat is it about the times that Spider-Man and Doctor Strange get together that makes it so special? Is it the sweet juxtaposition of characters - the kid from downtown and the adult from “out of town”? Is it that Spider-Man provides the audience a grounded focal point in the swirling dimensional nexus that is Doctor Strange’s native setting? Is it the combination of the pinnacle cheeky smart-alec and the eternal straight man? Is it just the chance to let the Ditko fan in all of us, hearts racing, have an internal moment of raising our voices to deliver a mighty 'yawp' across the rooftops? (Um... Is that just me that does this...? :) )Without question, it’s one of the great comic book pairings, the four-color equivalent to a Resse’s Peanut Butter Cup: two great tastes that taste great together. Whatever “it” is about the pairing of these two characters, this page HAS it; a powerhouse spread of magic and the fantastic, filled to the gills with the wonder, character, and storytelling muscle that the team of Immonen and von Grawbadger so consistently (and seemingly effortlessly) deliver. From the Cloak of Levitation billowing itself beneath a dragon statue, to the Wand of Watoomb, to arguably the most famous skylight in comics, to an open, floating book wreathed in mystical fire (because OF COURSE), this page has it. Sanctum Sanctorum! This is an amazing Spidey, Dr Strange and Wong page. The detail is top notch, and I love all the magical artifacts. Congrats!

What a wonderful description, and an amazing DPS! I totally agree with your reasons as to why the Spidey/Doc Strange pairing always works so nicely. It's fun to experience Spidey's reactions to his adventures with the good doctor because they match what ours would probably be. Utter amazement and childlike fascination.

This page has so much going for it.. and your own description is a better articulation of what "it" is than anyone could provide.. Wha a magnificient page.. Anything by Immonnen is just a joy to behold and this is somethings special for the Ditko fans among us..congrats

As far as your description and what we like about Pete and Doc paired...all of the above! And Immonen is such a great storyteller. Really like the flow as you move through the page. Big congrats, man - I KNOW you're stoked!

This Ultimate Spider-Man page has everything a collector could want -- beautiful figure work, lovely inking and most of all excellent storytelling. And the juxtaposition of Spidey with the good doctor is just perfect. Congratulations!
