Description

Fury Max is a masterpiece --- my favorite war comic. Garth Ennis and Goran Parlov really hit it out of the park with this series. The story is told over several decades and touches on many major US military misadventures since WWII. Parlov ages the characters more effectively than I've ever seen in a comic book, and Ennis tells an absolutely riveting story --- he pulls no punches. This page really stayed with me after I read it the first time; it captures the vibe of the whole story for me. Thanks for taking a look!

Parlov makes it look so easy to tell these stories. This Fury was so spot on, even better than the Punisher ones he drew. And the aging of the characters is pitch perfect. Great piece.

These days I get around to reading comics years after they're published. So I just read Fury Max over the weekend. I was blown away by it, and this was one of the more memorable pages in the book. Congrats on having it. Parlov is an artistic beast.
