DescriptionHoungan is a character I enjoy, because it plays off the Haitian art of voodoo. The thing I don't get is, the skewers he uses to stab his voodoo dolls are computerized, apparently so he can inflict pain on his opponents from long distances. I'm no voodoo connaisseur or practitioner, but from what little I do know about voodoo, I'm pretty sure the who point of the dark art is that it's supposed to work on your enemies without them needing to be within proximity. Thank you for the description, cuz now I know who Houngan is. And I agree with you, the whole idea of voodooism is to terrorize the victim from afar. Regardless, that's a very cool image on this card art.
