DescriptionFrom the last issue of the series: The evil Mon-Star has created a duplicate of Quicksilver to perform evil deeds and frame the SilverHawks for things they didn't do. And his plan works as Earth orders the disbanding of the SilverHawks. But the SilverHawks are determined to stop the evil twin and prove their innocence.I decided to post this to celebrate Dynamite’s announcement for an upcoming release of new a SilverHawks series. As an 80’s baby, I loved this show and the toys. Often (fairly) compared to the ThunderCats, I loved their metallic, winged cyborg designs along with the deep space setting and Mon-Star was a great villain. As a kid, the figures were so cool! The wings were a metallic cloth that was attached to the arms and when you squeezed the legs they would pop out in a flying pose. I had a Buzzsaw, Quick Silver and Steelwill (which my cousin threw into a tree & I never saw it again). I even had a grey Silverhawks sweatshirt that had wings like they did (which would be nice to find a picture of). Needless to say, I’m excited about to read new adventures with my favorite winged, cyborg, space-cops! The middle panel is a stat paste-up with (reversed art underneath). If anyone knows how to remove the glue gunk on the “RELEASE!” panel without damaging it, please let me know. Also, if anyone knows which artist did the penciling and inking please let me know. Mike Witherby signed the page but Fred Fredricks is also credited with art on this series. Social/Sharing |

YES! As a fellow Silverhawks fan, LOVE seeing this! I still have the 7 issues :) Love those last 2 panels, Justin, congrats!
