Description15.5" x 10" image area. Ink, ink wash and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board. X-Men Adventures #6 Page 3 title splash page JEAN GREY AS PHOENIX Original Art (Marvel 1995).This splash is the largest image of Phoenix used in a published comic book. We see her in flight, leaving behind a nervous Jubilee. The series is based in the universe of the animated X-Men series, so it had the opportunity to revisit some of the X-Men's greatest hits with an updated approach. Cyclops and Beast arrive at Cassidy Keep just as Phoenix had stopped Lilandra’s capture by Gladiator. Almost immediately, Phoenix teleports Lilandra and the X-Men aboard Lilandra’s spacecraft, but leaves Jubilee behind for her safety. Social/Sharing |

Awesome title splash! A huge image of Jean literally rising :) So much meticulous detail in the hair. And a nice added bonus of it being a title splash - gotta love the lettering along the right. Great all around. Congrats!

I hear you, but I'm sure you take solace in the fact that YOU love it, what is clearly what matters most :) Not hard to see why! Congrats, again!

Not a Jerry Bingham page, can't take credit. But editors did that to me a lot back then. I often didn't recognize my own books. Enjoy.

Fabulous title splash to X-Men Adventures! What a stunning image of Jean Grey/Phoenix zooming right off the page! Gorgeous work by Tom Hebert with inks by Tom Christopher and Mike Witherby. Check out all the detail they put into her hair! The whole hairdo is made up of flames that trail away after like the exhaust on a rocket! Killer page, congrats!
