Description

Dave Cockrum redesigned and helped to revitalize the Legion shortly before he co-created the new X-Men. I believe he only drew two or three Legion covers (not counting fanzines) and this one was done in between his two stints on the X-Men.

Dave was (and is) my favorite artist and I was fortunate to get to meet him at several conventions in the late 90's/early 00's. He was truly a nice guy, great talent and also a fellow comics fan. I had missed out on owning this cover a few times in the past, so I was ecstatic to finally be able to buy it in 2018.
