DescriptionMazzucchelli is my favorite comic artist and I can’t believe that I have been able to add two pieces of his art to my modest collection. This is an early page in his run on Daredevil and he’s still being inked by Bulanadi here but you can still see Mazz’s draftsmanship coming through as well as some signature panels like the slight upshot close-ups he likes to use. I’ll forever be fascinated by his transformation and growth as an artist from fairly standard superhero fare to Rubber Blanket and beyond. One day I’ll definitely pick up a page that Mr. Mazzucchelli inked himself but until then I’m ecstatic to frame this piece and get it on the wall.Update- Sold 12/21 Social/Sharing |
