DescriptionAlthough not featuring the titular character (Cthu-Louise), the page does give the origin story of her father, the super villain known as Cthu-Lou (Lou Kaminski). In the last panel, we are treated to cameo appearances by Golden Gail (Gail Gibbons), Abraham Slam (Abraham Slamkowski), and Black Hammer I (Joseph Weber). It is the only time characters from the main Black Hammer book appear.The image of Abraham Slam from Panel 4 is also featured in the credits page of the one-shot. Black Hammer: Cthu-Louise was nominated for an Eisner Award in 2019 for Best Single Issue/One-Shot. Social/Sharing |

Fun single page self contained origin storytelling like they used to do back in the golden age and kids had to accept it! Lou's moustashe was already looking like the tentacles.
