Description

This stunning piece caught my eye since I first saw it, but it was NFS at the time. I used to look at it here on CAF again and again. It then became available but I could not afford it. A few months ago I was finally able to cut a deal with the previous owner and here it is! A perfect depiction of Batman in Gotham by one of my favorite artists! Thanks Ari for letting this go!

OK John Byrne has created MANY MANY commissions and this one stands out as one of my all time favorites and that is saying a lot! What a beautiful piece... CONGRATS!!!

I think the secret of this piece is that it was created spontaneously by Mr. Byrne, who was feeling like drawing Batman in Gotham. It was not commissioned by anyone, it is an inspired piece. It was sold afterwards.
