Description

This was a smaller pencil file that the client Zhiyou Wu asked for me to blow up to 11X17 and convert to blueline on 2-ply board for an inking commission, my first for him. The pencils are those of Arthur Adams whom I've only inked once before of a She-Hulk loose sketch posted in an older gallery. X-Men: Days of Future Past portrays all the major players such as the classic X-Men team, the intro of the new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and from the post-apocalyptic future the Sentinels' police state & mutant genocide and representing the last hope to stop this tragic destiny as Rachel Summers transports Kate Pryde's future consciousness into that of a younger X-Man in training Kitty Pryde (portrayed by Wolverine in the film of the same name). The bottom left edge was warped so I straightened things up and placed the credits there. I finished inking this job in July 2019. Later I had Tom Chu digitally color up the image for 13X19 prints. I love the color scheme he chose. One of my favorite commissions.
