Description

Topolino Extra #8 - Papersera News reprints stories from the series "Papersera News presenta" (Papersera, Duckburg Chronicle in English, is the name of the newspaper owned by Scrooge that sees Donald and Fethry as low-cost journalists/reporters), all written and illustrated by Mastantuono.

The book's cover, also marvelously penciled by Mastantuono, shows Scrooge McDuck reading his newspaper and, in the background, Donald and Fethry kind of in pursuit of the news.

It is such a beautiful piece that I wanted to see it inked, so I asked Alessandro Zemolin (he is also Mastantuono's inker whenever Corrado cannot ink by himself). He used the same approach as in a few other pieces (inks over a cyan print of the pencils) he did for me, with incredible results!

The original pencil work by Mastantuono is just amazing and to have it inked by a master like Zemolin a brilliant idea, congrats!
