Tetsuo is dealing with his first round of headaches since he was exposed to Takeshi and the drug that creates the enhanced people in Neo Tokyo.

Approximately 6.5� x 13� on animation paper, in graphite, red pencil, blue pencil and yellow shading. Scene number noted at the top. This exact moment is approximately 36 minutes into the film.

This movie fried my 13 year old brain when it released in the US. Katsuhiro Otomo is a genius. Akira is the best anime ever made, and I am stupidly happy to own a small piece from this brilliant film.
