Description

So excited to have one of my favorite all-time artists, Kevin Maguire, do an homage to his legendary Justice League covers with my favorite character, Captain America, and his partners over the years. When picking Steve's partners, I naturally had to have James and Sam by his side, Agent 13 of course, and the memorable gang from the Mark Gruenwald years - John Walker (doing his best impression of Guy Gardner), Diamondback (Steve's ex giving Sharon the eye), D-Man (who looks sooo proud just to be included) and Jack Monroe (keeping his distance from Winter Soldier).

Maguire was the artist for the "The Adventures of Captain America" mini-series back in 1991, so he was excited to do Cap again. I am very pleased with how this turned out and this 11x17 is definitely cover worthy quality. I'm sure many Cap fans will ask, "Why did you leave out...?" but this was the crew that meant the most to me.
