DescriptionI've had my eye on something from Daniel since meeting him at Felix Comic Art's booth at SDCC 2018, and was really excited when it was announced he would be doing a DC Black Label book with Wonder Woman. Daniel can do kinetic violence that is incredible, but can also capture immense beauty in quiet moments. This page is features such great comic story telling, the passage of time as Diana leads the caravan, but is still somehow very alone. Layered inks and white out/paint; the page is alive with texture. I'm looking forward to the final two parts of this story, and maybe if I'm lucky, adding another page from DWJ to my collection. Rising star and one of the Nicest guys in comics.Social/Sharing |

Totally agree on DWJ, great artist and seemed extremely nice and humble. This series and WW:Earth One could be the Evergreen Wonder Woman titles DC has been looking for. This is a great page, but then again they just about all are. :)

Nice page! Love the mood and storytelling in this. DWJ is so good at directing the eye and controlling the pace

I stop by and look at this piece too often, and noticed I've never commented. Congrats on a piece that will continue to show you new things for an entire lifetime.

My god... This is such a beautiful page! Very interesting choice made by DWJ to tell a complete story. The brushes so well executed.

Incredible WWDE page! I've never really connected with WW until DWJ and the Dead Earth book...and was totally blown away, really opened my eyes to the character (and the storyteller/artist!).

I had a very similar experience with this title. And it was the work that finally clicked with me for DWJ. Such a thoughtful storyteller and you can see how he grows with each project.
