I've always loved Paul's work and got a commission from him in 2005. When his rep Felix Lu opened up the list earlier this year, I went for a second.

Morbius seemed like the type of baddie suited for Paul's talents and he delivered. Thanks to Felix, a great rep and great guy.

This might be my favorite of your recent "Spidey vs" posts! 1) I'm a BIG fan of Morbius, 2) ASM 101/102 are 2 of my favorite comics, and 3) Pope's brush work is just top notch in this rendition! Huge congrats on his beaut!

What a SUPER choice of commission! It never occurred to me before, but Morbius is a perfect fit with Paul’s style - GREAT call.

The real high point here is the execution of Spidey’s multiple hands, though - beautiful! - and KGearon is right (as per usual); the brushwork on Spidey’s figure is simply... well... amazing. Excellent commission - thank you for sharing it with us here!

KILLER! Love this Paul Pope commission of Morbius and Spider-Man battling! I appreciate that Pope used the six-armed Spidey from their first battle in ASM #101! Just a splendid piece by one of today's hottest artists!
