Description

Illustrazione di Luciano Bottaro dedicata a Carl Barks in occasione del suo viaggio in Italia nell�estate del 1994.
Bottaro incontr� il leggendario cartoonist durante la visita che fece al ristorante dei fumetti �U Giancu� di Rapallo, e in segno di ammirazione nei suoi confronti, gli don� questa illustrazione.
Anni dopo acquistai questa illustrazione all�asta americana di Jerry Weist, che fu l�agente incaricato di vendere la collezione di disegni e tavole originali facenti parte della collezione di propriet� di Carl Barks.

Illustration by Luciano Bottaro dedicated to Carl Barks on the occasion of his trip to Italy in the summer of 1994.
Bottaro met the legendary cartoonist during his visit to the comic book restaurant "U Giancu" in Rapallo, and on that occasion, as a sign of admiration for him, he gave him this illustration.
Years later I bought this illustration from Jerry Weist, who was the agent who sold the drawings and original arts from the owned collection of Carl Barks.

I had two good times at "U GIANCU" in Rapallo, where i drank my fill of Grappa. Was also there for the celebration wih Don Rosa. I hope i can return. Keep up the good work on your gallery. Best Wishes.
