DescriptionLook, Bizarro was always considered Superman's "mirror image", but in truth, he was never really worth any more than a few good laughs and never truly posed much of a threat. To me, Hank Henshaw, the Cyborg Superman is the true "mirror image" to Superman, as he's not only ultra powerful on a universe spanning scale, but he's also the equivalent of a mass murderer, terrorist and homicidal maniac all wrapped into one killer package! The simple fact that he is as powerful as he is but also is completely lacking in empathy, has to make him Superman's most dangerous enemy, right?I've always felt Cyborg Superman was a cross between Superman and the T-1000 from the film, T2. I honestly cannot believe that there has never been even a single mention (let alone any 'buzz') about the idea for a Superman film with Cyborg Superman as the antagonist. Not only is his design perfectly suited for translation onto the live action screen, as it would look great as is, without the need to completely redesign a costume for fear it would look cheesy, but having him move and use his powers on screen using those "liquid metal morphing" powers the T-1000 had back in 1991 would probably already look very good. Add the improved technology the film industry has today, and that could make for one of the biggest, baddest mainstream superhero movies of all time, and DC's first real "massive hit". Bring on the Cyborg! Social/Sharing |
