Description

NYCC 2023. Getting art from Jorge was my number one priority at the show. I've been following him since his run on Smallville comics back in the day and really fell in love with his work during the Tomasi/Gleason run and subsequent Super Sons series. His version of Superman is amazing and has become an iconic modern day version that retains the classic elements. I love how this cover quality commission turned out with a clear reference to the Superman #1 cover. He has a true love for the character and can't wait for DC to give him a long run on the characters main book.

Absolutely beautiful! It's more like an "at home" commission in terms of the quality.

Yes, he actually completed all the NYCC commissions at home. Such great quality and literally the only traditional art out there as all his work is digital

Ah, then that explains the high quality! And yes, I'm aware that he works digitally, so al lthe more of a coup for you to get these. Congrats!

The old timey oval frame is gently broken out of with this modern take to signify the new and modern while still folllwing the form of the golden age roots.
