Description

Grail Adjacent Mail Call (from Australia!) This is a penciled prelim from 'The Story of Wheelie, the Wild Boy of Quintesson' by Earl Norem. I've owned the book since I was a child, and still have that original copy of the book. It's not the painted version of the original art (which I'd love), but I'm told the painted versions come up on the open market about as often as Halley's Comet.

A great look at their homeworld Quintessa! Norem makes this look like a space exploration story.

The fact that these drawings come from a kids book you had when you were a kid is cool, but the fact that you STILL own that very same copy HAS TO make the acquisition of these pencil prelims even more meaningful!

The "RogueTech" mod (#1 in popularity) for the BattleTech computer game had a scenario completely inspired by the Story of Wheelie. Fun esotera for sweet art!
