Description

Humberto is great with these kinds of fun, light-hearted cover images, and here Superior Spider-Man looks on as he gets a "graffiti fashion makeover."

This issue begins in that frolicsome way with Screwball and Jester setting their pranking sights on J Jonah Jameson, but gets much more serious later on when Superior Spider-Man (Doc Ock in Peter's body) lays a brutal beat down on the two pranksters. Ghost Peter watches in horror from Ock's mind ("What Have You DONE?!?"), and as the beating is broadcast on the Internet, both MJ and the Avengers get a shocked eyeful as well. Time for the Avengers to step in to see what the heck has gotten into the friendly neighborhood webspinner!

I've really come to enjoy Ramos' work over the last few years, thanks in part to his ever evolving style and you posting so much of it for me to see. As always, I really love pages and covers that exhude FUN and this is the very definition of that. I love pieces that can bring a smile to my face!

J. Jonah Jameson must feel very conflicted about this cover. On the one hand, it's showing disrespect to Spider-Man, which JJJ can appreciate. On the other hand, that's a Daily Bugle ad that's been defaced! Whatever JJJ's feelings, I can say that I'm not conflicted about this cover - it's great!

There's always been something about Ramos art that speaks to me. This one is a lot of fun and is an excellent example of the humorous side of his art. Congrats man!

And you're not the only one! Apparently that's one of the reasons that Ock/Spidey gave Screwball such a whoopin' in the issue.

Another brilliant Spidey cover by Humberto Ramos! He is a master in telling a story in one picture and this is an excellent example of that!

Diabolical, Jester...Everyone knows Peter could never grow that much facial hair, you evil fiend! This might be one of my favorite Ramos covers. I love the humor, and what a great layout. And Jester! The definition of a fun baddie. Great score, Paul. Congrats!

Ah, yes, that's a nice one, Paul. Used to be in my collection! It's really cool to see how Humberto drew that Spidey head at center, as he usually would, then straight goes with some Sharpie lines right over it to convey the scene like he should! Always loved that. But yeah. These 2 won't be laughing soon! Congrats!
