DescriptionWhen I was looking for a Werner Roth example for my X-men collection there were a few key things I wanted . The whole team in costume .. multiple strong panels.. good dialogue and was hoping for a twice up. This one checked all those boxes and more. Juggernaut is my favorite villain and that last panel is the cherry on top! Roth’s run on the X-men is very underrated and I am glad I could secure this before others notice!Social/Sharing |

You are right! This one definitely checks all the boxes. I love when Roth draws the team in their costumes. He simplifies them in such great ways so they read so clearly. And that Juggernaut is the best! Huge congrats!

I can only image a youngster reading this off the rack in the late 60's, getting to this final page and seeing the last panel with Juggernaut. The fear for the team and anticipation of having to wait a whole month to see what happens next would make anyone mad. What a page. enjoy.

fantastic example with, as you said, so many awesome elements you want! O5 in costume alone is worth the price of admission.
