Description

A main title Uncanny X-men cover is always a great get… but lots of other things to like here. It’s part of the Fear Itself crossover… has three very connected characters on the cover Colossus , Kitty and Illyana . It’s an important Juggernaut story and the first appearance of Colossus as the Juggernaut!

All great reasons to love this one.. but also Greg Land art… he gets a bad wrap for using the … um… wrong? Photo references . But I am fan of his art . I think he has a very clean and unique style and his art lends very well to the X-men action of that time.

Oh and did I mention main run Uncanny! Lol

Main run main run main run! Great cover! The inks and the bold outline around the figurework give a clean edge to the overall image. I like his covers having collected a lot of them in floppies over the years. nice addition!

This run by Land and Leisten was fun. Loved when the fear itself juggs was taking on all the xmen bypassing avalanche, a magneto thrown battle ship. But nothing stops COLLOSONAUT

Awesome acquisition! I dig Greg Land’s work when its more animated like this. Bold inking gives it nice depth and impact too.
