It's cool to see that he was pretty satisfied with all the elements after he drew this and stuck to it faithfully in the final painting. Glad to know you're enjoying the prelims. It's certainly a great way to collect nice art at affordable prices!

I definitely am. I think I’m attracted to the extreme ends of the spectrum. I would either like to have a basic work of a master or a master work of a yet unknown artist than somewhere in the middle of that spectrum. And it’s not coincidental that this approach is relatively inexpensive. At some point I might pony up for the more finished work of a master but for now I’m still (safely) getting my feet wet.
