DescriptionFlash vol 1 issue 53 pg 53 (1944) by Sheldon Moldoff! "Simple Simon met the Hawkman" written by Gardner Fox (Creator of DC Multiverse!)To quote Indiana Jones “It belongs in a museum!” 1944 Golden age DC Comics art for Sale! Art from this era is pretty scarce. It was recycled, trashed or lost to time and history. Here we have Flash vol 1 issue 53 pg 53 (1944) by Sheldon Moldoff! From a Hawkman story called "Simple Simon met the Hawkman". Simple Simon plans a crime that involves a bowling ball, a hairpin and a penny! Hawkman solves the crime... now all he has to do is catch him! A great Golden Age page! Twice up! 14.5x22.5! HUGE! I had to scan it in two pieces and digitally stitch the images together on my iPad! All art will be securely shipped Priority Mail in a Mylar, a large Art box and between at least three pieces of rigid cardboard to guard against any bending.
