DescriptionFor my weekly Spidey post (which I have changed to Mondays), I have two splashes from the pages of Amazing Spider-Man.This is a fun splash page from a back-up Marvel Team-up story featuring Spidey and Ghost Rider together in an adventure, with great pencils and inks by Garbett & Sicat. In this story, Spider-Man joins Ghost Rider for a drink in the bar (Spidey gets milk). Suddenly, the only other person in the bar (besides the bartender), reveals himself as a similar spirit of hell, the Servicer. The Servicer tells Ghost Rider that the motorcycle has not been used for its intended purpose, the collection of souls for hell, and that he will need to service it. Ghost Rider throws his chain at the Servicer, only to get sucked inside his chest. Right before this, Ghost Rider tells Spider-Man to take the bike. Spider-Man gets on, and then the bike takes control, zooming throughout the streets of New York. My favorite thing about this page is that Spidey yells "With great HORSEPOWER comes great RESPONSIBILI--YAAAAAAAAAHHH!!" (I have a attached a pic of the published page) Thanks for this one, amigo!! Love the humor behind this page. Such a funny dichotomy between the serious, no messing around, vengeful-biker attitude of GR's ride and the fun-loving, light-hearted, caring and endearing Spidey. The pairing of these two is great because they are different ends of the Marvel spectrum. It's also a beautifully drawn work with such a cool perspective. He seems to be riding right off the page! Congrats on another fun and wonderfully drawn work, amigo!!

Oh stop with the awesome already! We know everything you have is drool worthy and I for one can't take it anymore! Just stop it, the colour green looks TERRIBLE against my complexion! Seriously, this page is awesome!
