DescriptionI recently became a big fan of Joey Vazquez and have been fortunate enough to pick up a few of his covers. I really love the composition on this one, with all the gang leaders looking over a really cool circular panorama of the city that they all want to rule.And of course there's Spider-Man in the middle, tasked with trying to keep everything under control. Luckily he has a lot of allies this time around, and he's gonna need them all! Social/Sharing |

Classic gangsters movie composition at the top to show the kings of the city! The overhead fishbowl effect is strong with Spidey below! It's like you got two covers!

With the realization that Hammerhead is the only crime boss I recognize, I'm afraid the Marvel Universe has truly passed me by. But he and Spider-Man look great and as big fan of artists who pay attention to backgrounds, I really love the angle at which Vazquez drew this one!

Extreme perspective works to great effect here, with Spidey at center. Or low center. High center...not sure that Hammerhead of all characters needed more head depth enhancement :) Congrats!
