Description

Every Thursday night, a bunch of artists get together online to live stream a different drawing theme each week. On August 13th, 2020 the theme was Mary Jane Watson. Each artist put their own spin on her.

I bought two of the four pieces from that stream. This is Dan Panosian's MJ. He mentioned to me that the "SPRANG" sound fx is his nod to Dick Sprang.

Panosian is just so good now. I don't think I have seen a clunker from him in the last several years. This piece is really cool!

Often seen as an inker (tracer!), Panosian is underrated for his own artistic abilities. Great concept, great execution.

Speaking to Dan's versatility, this could have just as easily been Archie's Veronica if not for the detail on that pinball machine.

Ouch... I used to play a few Machines when I was a Mailman back when I was 18. Aces High was my machine... but I never saw MJ hanging there.
