Description

A cover recreation of one of the seminal books from my childhood, Marvel Comics' Star Wars #1 from 1977. James did a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of that original cover.

I added colors and the trade dress. Note that I matched most of the colors from the original, including coloring both lightsabers the wrong color and makking Vader green.

Another commission arranged through Cam at Inky Knuckles.

The best recreations are not the line-for-line copies, but when the artist uses his own style and detail in the process. This nod to #1 is top-notch in that respect. Congrats Ron!

A classic where Callahan adds even more to the original from sheer enthusiasm! The cornerbox art is just as amazing!
