DescriptionLots to look at in the beautiful DPS. Nice layout created by the beams coming from the source wall. Probably saved the artists some time given the detailed background in the top half of the spread. The fact that Art filled in the solid blacks makes this look great. As I studied it I could see Orion's damaged helmet floating in space near Mister Miracle's knee. According to the story, the Godkiller had just killed Orion and Superman and Mister Miracle arrived too late to see or stop it. The source wall figure on the left looks like Thor and that's Lightray at the bottom. I'll have to read the story again as I do not remember Lightray being dead but I also know that there was a lot of confusion around Final Crisis and this storyline as they came out simultaneously.Social/Sharing |

really awesome DPS with so much going on and a great sense of balance in the imagery between both sides/pages on each end. Fantastic Starlin linework and man Art Thibert is such a great inker. congrats Lee

An outstanding double page splash! I love that Thibert followed Starlin's line very closely rather than infusing his own style into the inks as he usually does. Best looking Starlin art I've seen in years!

The only thing I can see that he did was make the beams wider , which helped him decrease the amount of detail of the wall
