DescriptionThis was published as the cover to Comics Journal #70. I think this piece nicely foreshadows Miller's later work on Sin City. Love the stark contrast of black on white and grey. Moody and iconic.Social/Sharing |

I don't know. I guess it's sorta iconic and dark and sinful. You lucky dog!

There it is. I remember when I saw this in the early 80's, I was 13-14 years old & already felt in love at the time! If you ever need or want to part (sale/trade) with it PLEASE contact me. Thx for sharing.

The Comics Journal this was the cover to has one of the best interviews I've ever read. The cover was a perfect complement to the interview, Eisner-esque, pre-dating Sin City (as previously mentioned), and a truly brilliant overuse of lighting to achieve a more impressionable image. Had him sign my Comics Journal years ago, just because I loved it so much. Looks even better without the cover copy. Thanks for sharing, and congrats!

I think I'm responsible for half the hits on this thing. Those '80s mags had some of the best covers. A real jewel in your killer collection!

Amazing cover, classic Miller at his best. Miller really made his mark on DD bringing him to the darkness in style and story. A keeper!!!!
