DescriptionI've been lusting over this piece for so long that it's still incredibly surreal that it will soon be hanging on my wall. A simply stunning sci-fi themed piece by the Spanish pinup master that's held my attention since I first laid on eyes on it years ago.Originally published as the cover for the hardcover collection "Sueños" and also used as the German paperback cover of the same material. If you ever wondered what a Giger influenced Azpiri piece could look like, then look no further. I'm not sure why the colors and composition of this one appeal to me so much but they do. And after the surprising lack of competition for it in the Heritage auction I must be the only one! Social/Sharing |

I think you hit it on the head, the colors ARE muted a bit and that gives it this cold, otherworldly feel.

Hey Frank ! Congrats for this one ! Nightmares 1 (there are three
albums ) here in Spain is the best (for me) album Azpiri draw in his entire life...i asked for the first cover to Alfonso 20 years ago and was sold , actually nobody knows where is it...actually is a grial for Azpiri fans
