DescriptionIn honour of Ken Kelly I wanted to pay tribute by sharing my Conan wall.Over the last three years I have spoken very often with Ken and his family. His passing is a devastating loss to them all, to all his friends, to all the people have dealt with him, to the whole fantasy art community and many more. He was entertaining, interesting and a truly genuine man. I’ve enjoyed all the times we had any communication and always looked forward to the next time. My deepest condolences go out to everyone mourning. Rest in peace Ken. Social/Sharing |

I didn't realize he passed... so sad, and such a loss. I have the cover to "Conan and the Amazon" hanging in my foyer... that was one of my favorites of his and I was so happy to get it.
It's funny that the Love Gun and Destroyer (first album, well, 8-track, I ever bought) covers were so iconic to me as a kid, but I didn't know anything about him, or that he even painted those. And then when I got to know more about comics and the writers and the artists, that's when I found out who he was.
I'm so glad to see several of his beautiful works in your care, where they can be appreciated and preserved.
Rest in Peace, Ken.

Thank you, I am astonishing lucky to have a large collection of Ken Kelly art.
You have an excellent piece there! Great to hear that it is also in good hands and appreciated.

Great display of some of Kelly's most triumphant images. They work together to tell the story of Kelly's power to inspire.
