Description

At a social gathering at Howard's in L.A. in the mid 90s, he offered the guests to choose pages from a pile of originals in his studio... I still remember that feeding frenzy! I chose 2: the Black Kiss page that's also in my gallery, and this really fun action page from American Flagg, which also displays his characteristic creativity with sound effects. Thanks again, Howard!

This one is a high quality doozy! The climatic action page of the first issue. Shows what Chaykin was capable of in this book that was one of the high end full color indie titles outside the big two.
