DescriptionAnna opened up commissions for Thought Bubble this year and I jumped at the chance. I would absolutely love to make the trip to Thought Bubble one day (officially adding to bucket list), but for now this stunning Daryl Tynon aka The Wendigo commission will more than suffice :)I was very pleased with the last Hellboy commission that Anna had drawn and definitely wanted to continue the Mignolaverse theme. It's safe to say that Anna knocked it out of the park again. I think she actually knocked it into the woods this time. The deep, dark, cold woods where there is a blood moon and a river of blood, and........look out Johann!!! The overall composition of the piece and the splashes of color are fantastic. The “less is more” approach with the color red really works here in terms of adding the element of horror. It also adds a little festive cheer with Christmas right around the corner! The character design of Daryl is spot on right down to the blood stained beard. Especially love the pose, as we see him perched atop an arching branch as blood drips down into the water. Last but not least, is the inclusion of Johann Kraus and some other B.P.R.D. field agents into the commission. It's such a great little touch and creates a complete narrative for the piece. Huge thanks to Anna and the team at Kinetic Collectibles! Love it! 11”x17” Social/Sharing |

Readman does really terrific commissions from what I've seen and this one stands out. My favorite touch is how the tree frames the characters in the background. Incredibly effective.

Christmas cards should be made of this for sure! Daryl sparks joy to the good little girls and boys during the holidays.

Love the way this image really does tell a story...Daryl in his element, and some hunters approaching...throwdown imminent! That pop of red works to great effect, too. Congrats, man!
