We have full werewolf transformation in all of its colorful glory and it is brutal! The brown and red tones that James used here work wonderfully together and create a visceral scene as Hellboy is poised and at the ready. I really hoped this was yours when I saw it online. Harren and Hellboyverse are a match made in (ironically) Heaven!

I, and others, were stunned when we saw this piece. It's perfection and I'm very jealous! Maybe one day I can come visit with it...but don't turn your back on it with me around it!

Man...this is outsstanding. Harren really outdid himself here. Totall channels the original storry but still ALL James. Visceral and beautiful at the same time. I went back and reread the story after seeing this, too :) Huge congrats, T!

incredible James Harren Hellboy commission! I love Harren's work, especially the color commissions he does like this one. I like this stunning image of a man changing into a werewolf right before our eyes. And then that werewolf turms to attack Hellboy (Bad Mistake)! Over his shoulder, Hellboy is carrying a cruxifix, cerrtainly one of the symbols used to turn aside demons, vampires and, I'd guess, werewolves. Not only do I love the image, but I love the limited color choices Harren makes on these commissions. Limiting the colors simplifies the illustration and just looks so damn cool! Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
